महाशिवरात्रि पर मंगलवार को उज्जैन में 'शिव ज्योति अर्पणम् महोत्सव' मनाया जाएगा। यह अब तक का सबसे भव्य समारोह होगा। 21 लाख दीये प्रज्ज्वलित किए जाएंगे। क्षिप्रा नदी के तट पर 10 मिनट में 12 लाख दीप जलाकर गिनीज बुक ऑफ वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड में नाम दर्ज कराने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है। अब तक यह रिकॉर्ड श्रीराम की जन्मभूमि अयोध्या के नाम है।
उज्जैन कलेक्टर आशीष सिंह के अनुसार, 1 मार्च को उज्जैन शहर इतिहास लिखेगा। 21 लाख दीयों का दीपोत्सव देखने के लिए आम लोगों को 8 बजे घाटों पर प्रवेश मिलेगा। दीप प्रज्ज्वलित करने और इसकी तैयारियों को लेकर 1 मार्च की रात्रि 8 बजे तक घाटों पर पहुंचने वाले मार्ग बंद रहेंगे।
सायरन के साथ 10 मिनट में जलाने होंगे सभी दीये....
कार्यक्रम मंगलवार शाम 7 बजे प्रारंभ होगा। रामघाट पर सायरन बजने के साथ दीपक जलाने के लिए 10 मिनट का समय मिलेगा। दीपक जलने के बाद सबको पीछे हटना होगा। दूसरे सायरन की आवाज पर गिनीज वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड की टीम इस रिकॉर्ड को अपने कैमरे में कैद करेगी। 7.30 बजे सभी वॉलंटियर्स फ्री हो जाएंगे। घाटों पर एक साथ 6000 ब्लॉक के 120 सेक्टर में करीब 14 लाख दीपों को रखा जाएगा। दीपोत्सव में मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान भी दीये जलाएंगे।
21 लाख दीपक में यहां भी जलेंगे बड़ी मात्रा में दीप....
क्षिप्रा के तट के अलावा महाकाल मंदिर में 51000, मंगल नाथ मंदिर में 11000, कालभैरव मंदिर एवं घाट पर 10000, गडकालिका मंदिर में 1100, सिद्धवट मंदिर एवं घाट पर 6000, हरसिद्धि मंदिर में 5000, टावर चौक पर 1 लाख, अन्य सार्वजनिक स्थलों पर भी 2 लाख दीप जलाए जाएंगे।
मोमबत्ती से प्रज्ज्वलित होंगे दीए....
दीयों को प्रज्ज्वलित करने के लिए 14 हजार मोमबत्ती को तैयार किया गया है, जिसको 14 हजार लकड़ी की स्ट्रिप पर चिपकाने का काम तेजी से चल रहा है। इसके लिए दत्त अखाड़े में दिन रात 25 से अधिक लोग काम कर रहे हैं।
हर बचे सामान का होगा फिर से उपयोग.....
दीपोत्सव के बाद दीयों को रिसाइकिल किया जाएगा। दीये की मिट्टी से भगवान की प्रतिमा बनाकर शहर में स्थायी रूप से स्थापित की जाएगी। बचे तेल का उपयोग गौशाला आदि में खाद्य पदार्थों के लिए किया जाएगा। स्वयंसेवकों के पहचान-पत्र को रिसाइकिल कर कागज बनाया जाएगा। 3-R (REDUCE (कम उपयोग), RECYCLE (पुन: चक्रण), REUSE (पुन: उपयोग)) के तहत उद्यान में कुर्सियों, बेंच, बर्तन आदि बनाने के लिए लगभग 14000 खाली तेल की बोतलों का दोबारा इस्तेमाल किया जाएगा।
दीप प्रज्जवलित करने ये संगठन आगे आए....
13000 स्वयं सेवकों को क्षिप्रा घाट पर गिनीज वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड के लिए लगाया गया है, जिसके लिए 17593 स्व-पंजीकरण पहले ही किया जा चुका है। इसमें कॉलेजों से 2913, निजी स्कूलों से 1210, सरकारी स्कूलों से 3090, राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना से 1023, खेल और युवा कल्याण से 552, तीर्थ पुरोहितों, पंडितों और अखाड़ों से 513, क्षत्रिय मराठा समुदाय से 56, कायस्थ समुदाय से 285 शामिल हैं। राठौर समुदाय से 95, गुजराती समुदाय से 120, सिंधी समुदाय से 100, अग्रवाल समुदाय से 173, सामाजिक संगठनों, समूहों, एनजीओ,सामाजिक कल्याण समूहों से 1027, कोचिंग संस्थानों से 1300, व्यावसायिक संगठनों से 111, राजनीतिक से 900 और पंचायत से 4000 एवं ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के स्वयंसेवक द्वारा पंजीयन करवाया गया है।

'Shiv Jyoti Arpanam Mahotsav' will be celebrated in Ujjain on Tuesday on Mahashivratri. This will be the grandest ceremony ever. 21 lakh diyas will be lit. A target has been set to enter the Guinness Book of World Records by lighting 12 lakh lamps in 10 minutes on the banks of river Kshipra. Till now this record is in the name of Ayodhya, the birthplace of Shri Ram.
According to Ujjain Collector Ashish Singh, Ujjain city will write history on March 1. Common people will get entry to the ghats at 8 o'clock to see the lamp festival of 21 lakh diyas. The roads leading to the Ghats will remain closed till 8 pm on March 1 for lighting the lamp and its preparations.A
The program will start at 7 pm on Tuesday. At Ramghat, 10 minutes will be given to light the lamp along with the siren. After lighting the lamp, everyone will have to retreat. On the sound of the second siren, the team of Guinness World Records will capture this record in their camera. At 7.30 all volunteers will be free. About 14 lakh lamps will be placed in 120 sectors of 6000 blocks simultaneously on the ghats. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will also light diyas in the Deepotsav.
In 21 lakh lamps, a large amount of lamps will be lit here too.
Apart from the banks of Kshipra, 51000 in Mahakal temple, 11000 in Mangal Nath temple, 10000 at Kalabhairav temple and ghat, 1100 at Gadkalika temple, 6000 at Siddhavat temple and ghat, 5000 at Harsiddhi temple, 1 lakh at Tower Chowk, at other public places 2 lakh lamps will also be lit.
Diyas will be lit with candles.
To light the lamps, 14 thousand candles have been prepared, the work of pasting them on 14 thousand wooden strips is going on fast. For this, more than 25 people are working day and night in Dutt Akhara.
Every leftover item will be used again.....
Diyas will be recycled after Deepotsav. The idol of God will be established permanently in the city by making the idol of the god from the clay of the lamp. The remaining oil will be used for food items in Gaushala etc. The identity cards of volunteers will be recycled and made into paper. Under 3-R (REDUCE (Reduced Use), RECYCLE (Recycle), REUSE (Reuse)) around 14000 empty oil bottles will be reused for making chairs, benches, utensils etc in the garden.

13000 volunteers have been engaged for Guinness World Records at Kshipra Ghat, for which 17593 self-registration has already been done. This includes 2913 from colleges, 1210 from private schools, 3090 from government schools, 1023 from National Service Scheme, 552 from sports and youth welfare, 513 from pilgrimage priests, pandits and akhadas, 56 from Kshatriya Maratha community, 285 from Kayastha community. 95 from Rathor community, 120 from Gujarati community, 100 from Sindhi community, 173 from Agarwal community, 1027 from social organizations, groups, NGOs, social welfare groups, 1300 from coaching institutes, 111 from professional organizations, 900 from political and 4000 from panchayat And the registration has been done by volunteers from rural areas.
